Many people may not be aware that the Texas Association of REALTORS® has a Relief Fund that helps people who have suffered losses due to natural disasters in Texas.

Currently, the fund is accepting applications from individuals who have suffered damage to their property or have been displaced, either temporarily or permanently, as a result of the severe weather and flooding event which began August 25, 2017.

Assistance is limited to $1,000 per applicant, and is restricted to applicants who are located within the jurisdiction of a participating local REALTOR® association and in one of the counties for which the governor has declared a state of disaster.

The application deadline is September 25, 2017. 

Applicants who do not respond to each question and who do not provide the required supporting documentation will not be considered.
